| Old Burlington City Lake in Hopedale - This quiet lake is
only open Fri-Sun for a small fee. It is generally very quiet and
offers a fair relay area.
Lake Mackintosh- The new lake in the county on the SW side of town is
large. It allows fishing boats but no skiers. Closed on ??
Lake Cammack - The primary recreational lake in the county is
home to skiers, jet skis, fishermen. The water would tend to be
rough especially on weekends. During weekdays or early weekend
mornings this lake might be suitable. Closed on Thursday?
Graham/Mebane Lake - East of Haw River this lake can provide suitable
waters for paddling. Schedule below:
Graham-Mebane Lake: $3 fee for each boat, all types. No legal access
other than ramp at park. October 1 through February 28: Weekends only.
7a.m.-dusk on Saturdays. 1p.m.-dusk on Sundays. March1 through Sept. 30:
Every day 7a.m.-dusk, except Tuesdays (closed). Sundays not open til 1p.m. |
