This project was the outcome of a grant awarded to the Haw River Land and Trail Association of Alamance county, Chaired at it's inception by Dr. Sam Powell and currently Chaired by Dr. Deborah Amaral. Please join us this Monday, Nov. 1, at the 9AM Alamance County Commissioner meeting, as Dr. Michael Holland presents a commendation to the Town of Swepsonville's Mayor Raymond Herring for his Town's support of the NPS Guidelines and for their development of an 18 acre river park; the first municipal-owned river park on the Haw River.
